What made you fail, won’t make you succeed
The road to a success is full of hurdles. When we start our journey on that road, we start facing these hurdles and try to pass each of them one by one. But most of the time we get fed up and don’t want to face these hurdles anymore and we give up our journey. This is what separate unsuccessful people from successful ones.
So, why do people become unsuccessful?
Being unsuccessful has various reasons. It can be because;
- we chose the wrong methods to reach our goals
- we don’t have the energy to do what it takes to become successful
- we are lack of certain skills to reach our goal
- we give up easily
Or, it can be combination of everything that is in the above list. So we need to identify our reason for failure. After we know why we failed, it is much easier to come up with a solution. Always keep in your mind that failure is only a result that is caused by our actions and only solution is to identify those actions.
Identifying the Actions behind failure
Our daily life is full of actions. Without an action we cannot go from A to B and we can not do anything we want to do. When we fail, we need to look closely to the actions we took that resulted in failure. After we identify these actions, we need to analyse what made us to take that action. For instance let us try to identify the actions we need to take to meet someone at an airport.
- We need to get up at a certain time to get ready
- We need to take a transportation to the airport
- Meet the person at the airport.
So if we meet the person at the airport on time, that means we successfully accomplished our goal. All the actions we took to go to the airport to meet that person were right. But what if we were late? Than that would be a failure. So we need to look back and identify why we were late? Is it because we got up late, or is it because we chose the wrong type of transportation? We will know exactly what the problem was, if we are honest with ourselves. But if weren’t honest, we would find bunch of other reasons behind our failure. We could blame to traffic, we could blame to bus driver for driving slow, etc.
We need to stop feeling sorry about ourselves and face the truth behind our failures. If we don’t, we will repeat the same actions again and again. So what make us fail won’t make us successful.

I agree with ur reason of identifying the failure. May be most of the times it is because of small mistakes. They had cost us a big loss. Its good to take note of all the factors that made us fail and to compare with them before taking the step further.
