4 Effective Ways to Comment on Different Blogs

Commenting on other blogs is one of the most important ways to get free traffic and incoming links to your blog. In this article I will focus on how to make your comments more effective on different blogs so you can increase traffic to your own blog.

Commenting can have two types of advantages. First, we can get free back links; second, people can follow these links to your own blog, so free traffic. Yet, the outcome generated through back links can show its effects in the long run. But, traffic can have immediate effect, as you will be commenting on blogs that are similar to yours.

So, to be able to see the results of blog commenting we have to find similar blogs and at the same time we have to know how to write a comment on these blogs. Let see how we can find similar blogs, how to participate in these blogs, and how to get traffic from these blogs.

Step 1 – Finding Similar Blogs

Finding similar blogs is not a difficult process. You can achieve this by going to any major blog directory and browse the categories. Another thing you can do is; simply go to the DMOZ or any other main directories and find blogs that are in the same category as ours.

Step 2 – Visit and Make Comment

When you find related blogs, you should visit each blog and check out the content. Spend some time to read the posts. If you have something useful to add or need to ask about something, leave a comment. But, you should only write a comment, if you need to contribute and add something to the post. Don’t just leave comments such as; “Nice Post”, “I like your blog”, etc. Because, these kinds of comments look spammy and not really appreciated by the owner of the blog. Comments should be few sentences and they should add some value to the post you are commenting on. Also, you should be honest with your comments. If you don’t agree on something, you should say it. If you do it like this, you will start building some authority and your comments will send visitors to your own blog. Other important thing you need to remember when you are commenting, you shouldn’t just choose any username. The username should be same as your blog title as this can effect your search engine rankings positively.

Step 3– Keep Doing It

The only way you would see the advantages of commenting if you are consistent. If you are regular participant in the blogs, you can also establish good relationship with the blog owners. Also, other participants will know you and will also pay a visit to your own blog.

Step 4 – Be Consistent About Your Identity

If you are not consistent about your username, then it will not be very easy to establish an authority amongst other bloggers. But if you keep using the same identity on different blogs, people will recognize you, you will have a reputation and at the same time you will make a relation with other people.

Commenting on different Blogs will help you to boost incoming traffic to your blog very much, if the above measures are followed. You can experience the effects of this traffic in a short period of time. Also, this traffic will send right kind of visitors to your blog. In the long run, the links that you have in your comments, in most cases that is your username, will increase your back links and that will have good impact on your rankings within the search engine results.
