Here are 27 very useful tips to drive traffic to your blog:
- Display large RSS icons. This helps it easier for your visitors to subscribe to your blog.
- Setup a twitter account just for your blog. This way you will build followers, who are interested with your blog only.
- Open a facebook account just for your blog. This will help you build a community, who are interested with your blog.
- Write articles about your blog or about your blog’s niche. You can submit articles to article directories such as Ezine Articles.
- Use Trackbacks or Pingbacks. These will let other bloggers know that you are linking to them.
- Comment on blogs that have similar content to yours.
- Create squido lens about your blog. But make sure you comment other squido lenses to drive attention to yours.
- Submit your blog to bookmarking sites such as Digg, Reddit, and Stumble.
- Write EBooks and give them free to your subscribers.
- Become member of blogging communities such as MyBlogLog and Blog Catalog.
- Become an active member for forums that are related to your niche.

Yeah, creating facebook page, twitter account are the basis for getting traffic. Agreed 100 % with the point. I am not sure how the other points can give the benefit.
