How hanging new pictures on the wall can change your life?
You can find a lot of excuses not to do DIY jobs around the house. Being busy at work and being tired is only couple of them. If you think hard enough, you can come up with a lot of other excuses as well. However, last weekend that was the end of excuses for me. I finally start hanging the frames. To be honest, I wish I’ve done it before. First they look really nice, second the house is much tidier, third I want to do even more and put some shelves up for my DVDs and books as well.
It is really satisfying, when you start something, which you kept putting off for a while. After you finish, you want to do more and more. Especially, when the work you’ve done is appreciated by others. It gives you a momentum to do more things; you keep putting off for later dates.
Small changes can help you a lot, to do the things, which you kept delaying. Changes start if you take actions. The pictures don’t hang themselves. You can’t wait someone else to do the job that needs to be doing. So, you need to take the hammer and nails and start hanging those pictures on the wall or clean the garden which you kept delaying for months.
Actions lead to results
After you finish those small jobs, you will get the satisfaction of getting the job done. This will make you go even further. You will start with other things you’ve been putting off. You’ll be surprised, how much you have achieved, when you look back.
Results will lead to success
You can only get results if you take action. If you start something with positive attitude and go till the end, you will see the benefit of pushing hard at the end. You can’t get results (bad or good), without trying.
Are there any small things you’ve been putting off for a while? So, why don’t you start taking action and start tackling them one by one? I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences as well.

Taking action is the most important step, irrespective of how big or small the task is. Four months ago I’ve started my blog but I’ve got a problem with writing, and thus I procrastinate. I realized that my blog will not put content on itself. So little by little I started to write, despite the struggle I have with each sentence. I’m glad I’ve succeeded. :-)

Taking action proves to yourself that you can. It’s a confidence-builder, no matter how small the act appears. Each action taken is an act of faith which builds momentum for bigger acts (at least in your mind) down the road.
Great inspirational post.

whoa.. i’m surprised that you also write an inspirational article! well done, i agree that action lead to success. The best way is we should start to consistent on small action, then if we get used to it, we also get used to consistent on huge action.
This is also valid in blogging life.. heheh :)
