Competition: Free Advertisement For Top Commentators
I strongly believe that if you provide valuable thoughts and comments, you should get rewarded for it. I would like to thank to all of you, who commented this week on this blog.
So I think it is time to give something back to those, who share their opinions and add value to my blog. Because of all of you, I feel as I should blog more and make this blog much better.
About the competition
I would like to offer free advertisement opportunities for the top commentator of the week.
What do you need to do?
Leave a comment for the blog posts, old ones, new ones, etc.
What will you get in return?
The top commentator will be able to advertise their blog or website free for a week, which will be displayed on the sidebar. The ad will be a banner with 125×125 dimensions. I will announce the winner of this competition by creating a blog post and provide a link back to their blog from the post. The post will also include the top 5 talkative people of the week. So even if you don’t win, as long as you are in top 5, I will provide a link to your blog from that post.
When will it end?
Next week Wednesday at 8 pm GMT. The progress of the competition will be displayed on the sidebar, where a widget shows the top 10 commentator of the week.
Guidelines
Please keep in mind that I approve all the comments manually. Here are the guidelines for comments in InternetHow Blog:
- I will not approve comments that are posted deliberately to increase the comment count.
- The comments must be relevant to the particular blog post or blog in general.
- If I feel as the comments are not genuine, such as comments like “nice post”, “cool post”, etc, I will delete them.
- You don’t have to agree with my posts and please feel free to disagree J however; I will not accept any comments that are insulting and disrespectful.
- Finally, I am not included in the competition. So, if you see me as one of the top commentator, just ignore it.
So feel free to put your thoughts across, discuss and deb

Awesome idea, and glad to hear I won last week! :D It’s a great way of rewarding your regular commentators.
By the way, you should take yourself off the top commentators list. Just go in to the option and exclude your name from the list. It just means that more people can get on the list and be rewarded! :)

I think it really good to reward those, who make a commitment that also benfits me. So it is not fare, while I see the benefits, contributers don’t. So it is time to give something back.
Godd luck with it anyway.

A good idea on your part and that of the commentator. You get more comments and google luvs you more and more and the commentator gets a free ad and google exposure for backlinks.
