5 Tips To Get Instant Impact On Your Blog
If you have a blog, you would understand very well, how difficult it is to see some instant results from your hard work. I’ve been running this blog since January 2009. Since then I am trying my best to provide something valuable for my readers. Sometimes I saw the reactions I expected and sometimes I didn’t. However, there are certain things that I’ve done that showed really positive responses from my readers.
Choose a good design
One of the best choices I made to improve my blog is probably choosing the right template for it. A good theme is always an essential if you are really serious about blogging. You can have a content that worth reading, however, design of your blog actually allows your visitors to stay a bit longer to notice your content.
Today, you can choose really good templates from Elegant Themes or Theme Forrest under $20. It should only take around half an hour to setup your new template.
Write few articles and schedule them
I used to write my posts just before I publish them. It didn’t take long to realize this is one of the biggest mistakes I’ve been repeating in daily basis. Content is the fuel of your blog. If you run out of that fuel, you won’t be able to go far. And, if you are blogging the way I used to blog, it is for sure that you will run out of fuel and halt.
So, I took few days off from publishing blog posts. That gave me few days to concentrate on writing new articles. After I wrote 10 articles, I scheduled those articles to be published every couple of days. So, that gave me another 20 days to write even more good content.
Today, you don’t have to write 10 articles, but you can write couple of articles. Just spend an hour for your research and couple of hours to write your articles. It is enough time to come up with couple of good content for your blog. If you are posting in daily basis, it should give you another 2 days to write even more content. But, if you are publishing your posts every few days, then you will have plenty of time to research and write more blog posts.
Read and reply comments
Comments are greatest way to get feedback from your readers and also greatest way to improve your relationship with them. I make sure to thank them for their input and also for visiting my blog. However, sometimes it can be difficult to do this in regular basis. But I try best to do it.
Today, you can go through your comments, and thank your commentators. Make sure non of their questions are unanswered.
Visit Commentators’ Blogs
I always want to know more about people, who leaves comment on my blog. So, I visit their blog and try to leave comments. If I can’t leave comment, I Digg, Tweet, and Stumble their blog posts. In return they do the same for me. So, why don’t you do that today? Visit you’re their blog and leave valuable comments on their blog.
Today you can do the same. Try to learn from your readers. Visit their blog. Find out what they are blogging about. Try to participate in their blog by commenting, Digging, ReTweeting, etc.
Try, try and try, if you still can’t do it, keep trying
As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, a lot of your efforts will not provide the results that you would like to see. The only way to get good results is by trying. If you give up trying then you will give up reaching your goals.
So, Today and Rest of your life keep trying to accomplish your goals. Don’t let the failures to bring you down. Learn from your mistakes and don’t hesitate to try different methods to accomplish your goals.
